The deep color and persistent classic perfume of roasted nuts, roses, and black truffles make the 1988 Barolo-Enrico VI a sure bet. Round, rich, and thick in the mouth with plenty of tannin, this full-bodied wine needs several more years of cellaring. Drink it between 1996-2005 . Importer: Empson (USA), Alexandria, VA.
