The 1990 Pommard 1er Cru Les Fremiers has aged very well, wafting from the glass with aromas of dried red fruits, raw cocoa, orange rind, warm spices and sweet soil tones. Medium to full-bodied, succulent and lively, it's framed by powdery and partly melted tannins, concluding with a sapid finish. In a vintage that has frequently developed rather roasted aromatics and flavors, this Fremiers has remained notably vibrant. It was made by Thomas Bouley's father Jean-Marc.
