The 1999 Chardonnay Damaris Reserve (2,500 cases) is a blend of six Chardonnay vineyards averaging 20-years of age. Fermented with indigenous yeasts, aged sur-lie for 12 months (with considerable stirring), and bottled unfiltered, it is a bold, rich effort revealing notes of cloves, honeysuckle, and orange rind, as well as a creamy, full-bodied texture, and admirable richness.
