The 2004 Barolo Prapo is a powerful, tightly-wound wine with a dense core of dark fruit. Still rather primary, this muscular, deep Barolo requires cellaring, but it, too, offers tons of potential. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024.
What a joy it is to taste these wines from Sergio Germano, a young producer, who like many growers, made the finest Barolos of his career in 2004.
