The 2010 Barolo Bricco Gattera shows a dark, masculine side with savory tones of bresaola cured with juniper or fragrant pipe tobacco. Its aromatic evolution is also steady and complex: With just a few swirls of the glass, the bouquet reveals beautiful tones of pressed violets, forest floor, toasted hazelnut and white truffle.
