2022 was a very warm year throughout Spain, which suffered a torrid summer, very warm in Ribeiro too, the warmest since 2003 and also very dry, the driest since 1995. The 2022 El Paraguas Atlántico, their most affordable wine, produced with 88% Treixadura, 8% Godello and 4% Albari?o from different vineyards in the Avia Valley, kept a moderate 12.5% alcohol and very good freshness and acidity, balanced and clean. The varieties fermented separately with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel and oak barrels, with the Godello aged in barrel for three months. It was an unusually healthy vintage, and the wines are also healthy and gentle. 15,600 bottles were produced. It was bottled in May 2023.

The 2021 El Paraguas Atlántico was produced with a majority of Treixadura, complemented with 8% Godello and 7% Albari?o. It has 12.5% alcohol, good freshness and mellow acidity, which give it an approachable profile. They lost some 35% of the crop, but the quality of the wine is great. It has some development and complexity of age but also youth, and it is tasty, long and silky. 10,400 bottles were produced. It was bottled in August 2022.

The 2020 El Paraguas Atlántico has more Godello, 10%, and a little less Albari?o, 4%, to complement the Treixadura, the dominant white grape of the Ribeiro region. It's a little riper at 13.1% alcohol and has a rounder and softer palate. 2020 was a healthier year than 2021, with an easy harvest, and the profile of the wine follows that path; it's easy and clean and has a toasty note and some hints of honey. 16,600 bottles were produced. It was bottled in August 2021.

The clean, expressive and harmonious 2019 El Paraguas Atlántico mixes the three white indigenous grapes—85% Treixadura, 11% Godello and 4% Albari?o—from four vineyards in the Avia Valley, fermented separately in stainless steel except the Godello, which fermented in 600-liter French oak barrels, where it matured for three months. The wine has tension, complexity and freshness; it comes from a late harvest that delivered a wine with 12.3% alcohol, great freshness and acidity, a mineral, grainy sensation and very tasty flavors. 17,100 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2020.

The very young 2018 El Paraguas Atlántico wants to express the character of the Avia Valley and is produced with grapes from three vineyards there—88% Treixadura, 9% Godello and 3% Albari?o fermented separately in stainless steel or 600-liter French oak vats. 2018 was a cool and rainy vintage. It's a sharp and textbook white Ribeiro with the aromas of moss and river stones, the freshness of the granite soils and the acidity of a cool year. Only the Godello matured for three months in used 600-liter French oak barrels. It feels young and harmonious and seems to have the ingredients to develop nicely in bottle. 14,200 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2019.
