The one wine that mixes grapes from different vineyards in the Avia Valley is the 2017 El Paraguas Atlántico, a blend of Treixadura with 9% Godello and 3% Albari?o, where only the Godello ages in oak. The 2017 vintage is a year marked by killer frosts on April 27 and 28, and despite that, the wine is surprisingly good. It has notes of mossy stones and has a true Ribeiro character, Atlantic and cool, with moderate alcohol (12.6%) and very good acidity. It's round and fleshy but maintaining the tension, really tasty. A benchmark modern Ribeiro year in, year out. 11,800 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2018.
