The 2011 The Evil Twin is a blend of 65% Syrah and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon that was aged 22 months in 100% new French oak. Lacking a little complexity at the moment, with straightforward dark fruits, chocolate, spice and toast, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, beautiful freshness and fine tannin that emerges on the finish. Give it another year or two and enjoy bottles over the following decade.
