The 2006 Evil Twin is a blend of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah sourced from Red Mountain fruit and aged in 100% new oak. Purple-colored, it offers up a fragrant bouquet of smoked meat, game, mineral, scorched earth, black currant, and blueberry. Full-bodied, dense, and opulent on the palate, this burly, exceptionally lengthy effort should reveal greater complexity with another 3-5 years of bottle age. It will provide pleasure through 2021.
