Sadly, Pride Mountain makes little Viognier, but what they do produce is excellent to outstanding. The 1997 may be slightly shorter in the mouth than previous efforts, but it reveals a textbook apricot, honeysuckle, and peach-scented nose, good underlying acidity, lively, fruit-driven, medium to full-bodied flavors, and considerable volume in the mouth.
