The 2013 Gigondas Romane Machotte offers light red fruits, garrigue, pepper and hints of spice to go with a medium-bodied, mid-weight, easy drinking style on the palate. Made from 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah, it will need drinking in its youth.

This has a lush, velvety feel, with warmed raspberry and blackberry confiture notes coating a graphite spine, while dried anise, black tea and bay leaf details fill the background.
