The 1995 Cabernet/Syrah (70% of the former and 30% of the latter) has been primarily aged in new oak. It reveals an opaque purple color, followed by a gorgeously sweet, penetratingly fragrant nose of blackcurrants, olives, pepper, and earth. The wine possesses loads of fruit, a rich, lush mouthfeel, full body, and admirable length.
