Made from 60-year old Syrah and 30-year old Cabernet Sauvignon vines (the blend is 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Syrah), the 1993 Mas des Bressades is a dense, full-bodied, super-rich wine that is loaded with sweet cassis fruit. It offers an intriguing, spicy, peppery component, outstanding concentration, and impressive purity and harmony.
