The 2004 Coma d’En Pou is a blend of 33% Garnacha Tinta, Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Syrah, and 17% Merlot aged for 16 months in French oak and held for 3 years in bottle prior to release. Dark ruby red in color, it gives up an expressive perfume of balsam wood, lavender, cassis, cherry, and spice box. Savory on the palate with good volume and balance, it will drink nicely from 2011 to 2019.
