The 2006 Miserere is composed of 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Garnacha, 26% Tempranillo, 10% Merlot, and 10% Carinena aged for 12 months in French oak. Garnet-colored, it offers up a complex perfume of slate, lavender, cassis, and black cherry. It falls on the feminine side of Priorat with an elegant personality and racy flavors. Supple and ripe, it is already approachable but will benefit from 2-3 years of cellaring.
