Lifted, vibrant notes of blueberries and black olives appear on the nose of Burgaud's 2020 Cote Rotie, a blend of grapes from several lieux-dits, including C?te Blonde, les Moutonnes, Fongeant and more. One of the few producers who continue to produce only a single bottling, it's medium to full-bodied, a bit creamy in texture on the mid-palate and boasts a long, silky finish. While a bit raw and unformed, it looks to have excellent potential.
