Bernard Burgaud's 1992 Cote Rotie reveals excellent deep garnet color with a purple hue, an evolved bouquet of herbs, black fruits, and damp earth, fine fatness, excellent richness, and medium to full body. The wine's flattering, soft style suggests it should be consumed over the next 7-8 years. It is a fine effort from a vintage that has produced more good wines than I initially believed.
