The 2017 Chardonnay Diamond T Vineyard, barrel fermented and aged ten months in 40% new French oak, is scented of toast, lime peel, baked apples, honeysuckle and hay with notes of crushed almonds and stone. Medium to full-bodied, the palate explodes with ripe fruits, lifted by tangy acidity and finishing long and full of energy. This is very different than the rest of the lineup—still ripe and luscious but incredibly energetic, focused and laser-like.
