Tenuta la Fuga's 2011 Brunello di Montalcino is a softly layered Sangiovese with a steady delivery of red fruit aromas. The wine boasts a simple side with streamlined texture and easy cherry aromas. It also shows less complexity overall, but it does deliver great mouth-awakening freshness and silkiness.

A warm, rich red, boasting black cherry, plum, earth, tobacco and iron aromas and flavors. Loaded with tannins, this leaves a burr on the finish but should come together in a year or so. Best from 2018 through 2028. 2,250 cases made.??–BS??Region: Italy / Brunello di Montalcino Select to Add
