The 2003 Merlot Napa, which includes 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, finished at 14.3% natural alcohol. Still youthful and vibrant, it exhibits refreshing notes of red and black cherries, forest floor and a hint of coffee beans in a medium to full-bodied, pure, graceful style. Drinkable now, it should last for another 8-10 years.
