Perrin has produced good wines in both 1993 and 1992. The 1993 reveals evidence of aging in new oak casks given the sweet vanillin and ripe cherry-scented nose. The wine exhibits lovely ripeness, medium to full body, admirable fruit and depth, and a soft, lush finish. It will require drinking in its first 5-7 years of life.
