Stylistically, it rises in this tasting like the Eiffel Tower does at Champ de Mars in Paris. So distinctive, this ultraconcentrated white tastes almost like a mixture of great Viognier, Sauternes, Tokay and Chardonnay. The texture is smooth like double cream, the aromas tend toward peach, white apricot, lime, various herbs and honey. Flawless balance, seamless finish. Grand white Burgundy on the highest scale, probably made from ultralow yields. Tempting now, but don't touch until after 2000.--Chardonnay Challenge. 96 cases made.??–PM??Region: France / Burgundy / Meursault Select to Add
