The bold 2004 Chateauneuf du Pape is made in an elegant, almost Burgundian style with medium body, notes of raspberries, and cherries in a cool climate, resiny style with good depth, richness, and overall balance. It is an impressive wine, not totally dissimilar from the style of Domaine de Charvin.
Proprietor Coralie Goumarre produces the wine at this estate in the northern sector of Chateauneuf du Pape near the village of Courthezon.
No known American importer.
