This is a hot vintage, and the 2015 Barbaresco Meruzzano's textural richness is more robust as a result. The color is very dark, surprisingly thick and black, while the mouthfeel is plush and rich, carrying some soft tannins. This is a great near-term wine to pair with white meat dishes such as roasted pork or rotolini. Some 10,000 bottles were made.
