The Orlando Abrigo 2011 Barbaresco Meruzzano opens to a light garnet color with pretty and luminous ruby rays that significantly brighten up its appearance. The wine offers textbook color for healthy Nebbiolo. In terms of aromas, this Barbaresco offers a subtle performance with mild cherry tones followed by spice, cola and balsam herb. Meruzzano shows a compact and lean texture with a beautifully bright and brilliant personality. This is a low-key, but cheerful Nebbiolo to pair with white meat or codfish.
