The 2007 Chianti offers up ripe dark fruit, flowers and sweet spices in a medium-bodied style, with excellent density and dusty tannins that round out the finish. The estate’s Chianti is 95% Sangiovese and 5% Canaiolo and Colorino, aged in cask. It is an excellent value. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012.
