For $13.50 it will be hard to find a better Tuscan offering than Mori's 2000 Chianti. An opaque purple color is accompanied by powerful aromas of black cherry jam, blackberries, licorice, minerals, and earth, considerable stuffing, a succulent, full-bodied, supple style, and loads of fruit as well as extract. A layered finish adds to the overall appeal of this dynamite Chianti. Drink it over the next 4-5 years, although I suspect it will last longer.
