Sweet dark cherries, plums, spices and white flowers flow from the 2009 Chianti. This shows gorgeous freshness and vibrancy throughout. Firm but well-balanced tannins frame the finish. This is about as good a Chianti as readers will find for the money. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019.
Giacomo Mori is one of my favorite under the radar estates in Tuscany. Quality has been consistently on the rise over the last few years.
