Partially barrel fermented and matured, the 2017 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc is a full-bodied blend of 43% Grenache Blanc, 35% Roussanne, 12% Clairette and 10% Picardan. Nectarine, tangerine and custard notes come across as plush, even almost sweet tasting, then develop a slightly bitter pith note on the finish.
