An impressive relic, the 1992 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc (straight from the chateau's cellars) continues to drink well. Straw to brass in hue, it offers scents of orange marmalade on the nose. In the mouth, this medium to full-bodied wine is remarkably silky-textured and fresh, with a long, citrusy finish. Based on this tasting, I may have to revise some of my drinking windows for the white wines from this estate.
