The medium to dark ruby-colored 1999 Givry Cellier Aux Moines has candied red and black cherry aromas. Medium-bodied and chewy-textured, it is opulent, lush, and awesomely structured. Copious quantities of perfumed blackberries, cassis, blueberries, cherries, and oak spices can be found in its penetrating character. It is structured, yet its tannin is prodigiously well-ripened.
