There are always some lactic and spicy notes of creamy oak when this wine is young. I'm talking about the 2012 Torresilo, which also has plenty of flowers, ripe berries and aromatic herbs. But it's the palate where you feel a great vintage; balance, acidity, tannins and alcohol are synchronised and the wine comes through as very complete and harmonious. It's great to find a Torresilo like this one. It's approachable now, but should also develop further complexity in bottle. A modern classic with the potential to improve. 15,000 bottles.
