This wine is released a year later than most. The 2012 Barbaresco Rabajà is Bruno Rocca's flagship bottle. The wine reveals a bold and elaborate style that is contingent upon a bright quality of fruit and careful barrel aging. Both those elements are proudly on display here. The Rabajà vineyard is known for power and structure, and that fact is also made evident here.

The core of cherry, strawberry, licorice, spice and underbrush flavors are encased in a steel trap of tannins. Nonetheless, this has a core of sweet fruit and viscosity and remains long on the finish. Be patient.
