Bruno Rocca's 2011 Barbaresco Rabajà is an absolutely delicious expression from the heart of this prestigious appellation in Northern Italy. The bouquet exhibits great layering and finesse with a fluid, ever-changing set of aromas. They range from cola and balsam herb to red cherry and crushed granite. Ash and campfire smoke also appear as delicate background notes. The wine is fine and elegant overall.

Aromas of eucalyptus and menthol mark this opulently textured red. The fruit is buried for now, hinting at cherry and floral notes, shaded by tobacco and spice details. Firm finish.
