This is an awesome Barbaresco! From the huge, fragrant, chocolate, cedar, all-spice, tobacco, and black-cherry-scented nose, to the wealth of sweet, jammy fruit packed into this full-bodied, seamless, velvety-textured wine, this is the kind of Barbaresco that makes me think Nebbiolo is Italy's answer to a prodigious Pinot Noir. Deeply-colored, with an opaque ruby/garnet center, this gorgeously proportioned Barbaresco is drinking beautifully now, but it promises to age well for 10-15 years.
