Ferraton's full-bodied 2019 Hermitage Les Miaux is a blend of fruit from Les Dionnières (70%) and Le Méal (30%). Slightly lifted and herbal on the nose, it follows those aromas with notes of cassis and mocha. Rich, warm and generous on the palate, it finishes long and velvety, an Hermitage that should be approachable relatively young yet age well for 15 years or so.

I found hints of charred beef, cinnamon, espresso and black olive on the nose of the 2015 Hermitage Les Miaux. It's a solid, full-bodied wine with moderate tannins and some beefy red fruit, but it lacks the drama of some of Ferraton's other offerings.
