A blend of 80% Marsanne and 20% Roussanne, aged in equal parts stainless steel tank and 600-liter demi-muids, Graillot's 2020 Crozes Hermitage Blanc features slightly honeyed notes on the nose, plus hints of pear and pineapple. An 80-20 blend of Marsanne and Roussanne, the 2018 Crozes Hermitage Blanc is a 50-50 blend of barrel-fermented and tank-fermented portions. Malolactic fermentation is blocked. It's a deep golden color, rich, broad and honeyed on the full-bodied palate, then finishes with a bit of white pepper and surprising zestiness.
