Starting with his white, the smoking good 2015 Crozes Hermitage Blanc offers a classic, rich, slightly honeyed style as well as notes of apple peels, spice and brioche. I love its depth of fruit and it’s a beautiful white to drink over the coming 3-4 years.

This has a core of slightly plump green melon, yellow apple and star fruit notes, offset nicely by a lightly stony accent along the edges. There's a twinge of dried chamomile on the finish.
