Offering lots to love, the 2014 Crozes Hermitage Blanc from Domaine Alain Graillot is an outstanding blend of 80% Marsanne and 20% Roussanne that spent six months in equal parts demi-muid and stainless steel. Offering up rock solid notes of honeyed apples, citrus blossom, honeycomb and a touch of minerality, it’s medium-bodied, mouth-filling and nicely textured, with a pour another glass type of gulp-ability. Possessing both richness and freshness, it’s a terrific effort in what was a difficult year for Crozes Hermitage. Drink it anytime over the coming couple of years.
