Medium to deep garnet in color and showing a nose of crushed blackcurrants, red currants and red plums alongside a distinctive herbal streak and a loamy undercurrent, the medium-bodied 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon is quite tart in the mouth and has a medium level of chewy, slightly astringent tannins with just enough fruit to flesh the structure. It finishes a little abruptly. Drink it now to 2018. Majella does not currently have a USA importer.
