The 2013 Cirerets is a 70/30 blend of Cari?ena from two old vineyards and younger Garnacha that fermented separately with 30% full clusters of Cari?ena and 20% in the case of Garnacha. The wines also matured independently, in second and third use barrels for the Garnacha and new ones in the case of the Cari?ena. The élevage lasted some 16 months. There are notes of wild berries and violets, a lactic hint with a touch of volatility that seemed to provide a touch of freshness. The tannins are more elegant and finer than those from the Artigas, with some ripe fruit flavors in the finish. This is a cuvée with very good freshness. 7,375 bottles and 100 magnums were filled in May 2015.
