The 2010 Cirerets is a blend of 60% Garnacha and 40% Carinena raised in 30% new oak barrels for 16 months. It has a dense, minty bouquet with floral notes developing with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with much finer delineation than the Artigas and an attractive, cohesive, dense mulberry and liquorice finish. Drink 2016-2023. Bodegas Mas Lata was established by Michel and Christine Vanhoutte in 1999 around the village of La Vilella Alta; since then they have planted 35 hectares of vine as well as sourcing old vine fruit from local winegrowers.
