This late harvest-styled wine contains over 15% alcohol, in addition to big, thick, tarry, cherry-like flavors oozing with glycerin and richness. It is a heavyweight Zinfandel that is likely to be fatiguing after a glass or two. Nevertheless, it should age well for 5-8 years. After producing lighter-styled Zinfandels in recent vintages, Peachy Canyon has produced positive, rich, and complete efforts in 1996. All of them merit attention.Tel. (805) 238-7035
