The 2006 Les Eres Vinya Velles is composed of 55% Carinena old vines, 30% Garnacha old vines, and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. It was aged in new French oak for 18 months. Also purple/black in color, it displays a fragrant, alluring perfume of pain grille, mineral, licorice, espresso, blackberry, and blueberry. Thick, layered, and full-bodied on the palate, it is loaded withsavory fruit, packs serious power, and has exceptional length.
