The 2007 Latria is a blend of 50% Garnacha and 50% Carinena aged in oak. Cedar, Asian spices, incense, blackberry, and plum aromas inform the nose of this dense, sweetly-fruited, forward red. It is an excellent value meant for drinking over the next 6-7 years. The average age of Celler Malondro’s vines is 40 years and among the most elevated in the Montsant DO.
