Leading at the 2013s from this terrific estate, the 2013 Crozes Hermitage Cuvee Louis Belle spent 18 months in barrel before bottling. It has plenty of fruit in its medium-bodied, fresh and balanced style. Crème de cassis, raspberries, violets and plenty of pepper herbs emerge from the glass, and while there’s elevated acidity, it’s nicely integrated and the wine has solid length and is always a joy to drink. Enjoy bottles anytime over the coming 5-8 years.
