Belle continues to display a fine touch with his red wine cuvees. The 1994 Crozes-Hermitage Cuvee Louis Belle is sweeter, richer, deeper colored, and overall a more complete and complex wine than the 1994 Les Pierrelles. There is good density, medium to full body, and a luscious, expansive, chewy richness, with gobs of olive-tinged, blackcurrant fruit intertwined with scents of licorice and toast. It is a delicious, forward Crozes-Hermitage for drinking over the next 7-8 years. Importer: Robert Kacher Selections, Washington, DC; tel. (202) 832-9083
