The lesser 2005 Sauvignon Blanc Grassnitzberg, however, was showing well. Aromas of lemon and honeydew melon, gooseberry, and herbs lead into a glossy-textured palate possessed of brothy mineral and meat stock richness yet insistently bright and satisfying. The difference between this wine’s 12.5% alcohol and the Zieregg’s 14% could hardly be more keenly felt. Importer: Weygandt-Metzler Importing, Unionville, PA; tel. (610) 486-0800
