The 2007 Weissburgunder Klassik offers the fresh juicy apple, hazelnut, and subtle textural creaminess that can make even ostensibly simple renditions of this grape variety so charming. Sappy, pure, and persistent, it demands a place at one’s table over the next 9-12 months. Tement’s 2004 Weissburgunder Steierische Klassik supplies lilting aromas of hazelnut and apple blossom, then wafts over the palate with notes of peach kernel, almond and hazelnut.
