The 2011 Coniale (Cabernet Sauvignon) is an elegant and expressive wine that shows great definition and focus. Last year's wine, the 2010 Coniale was a disappointment, but this edition brings us back to the wine's well-recorded beauty and glory. Sharp mineral tones of flint and granite give definition, and the wine is also pleasantly redolent of black fruit, spice and tobacco. It presents thick and generous layers with firm structure at the back.
